3. Serving the customer's project.

 

 Includes:

- Negotiations with providers with the purpose of obtaining compiled prices and to verify their compliance with the designer's intent.

- Obtaining the technical documentation of the providers and consulting the workers;

- Organizing delivery, unloading, storage and insurance of valuable goods. Creating the purchasing schedule;

- Marketing research to determine the most cost-effective materials and providers;

- Selecting material manufacturers based on the quality of service and material, as well as price, also depending on the preferences of the client. The search is made for a reasonable amount of manufacturers (according to the executor). If the manufacturers are similar, the executor will offer you a choice of three, if unique, the choice is usually limited to one.

- Calculating the required amount of item materials to be bought for the tasks.

- Recommendations as to the volume of reserves of material and individual items, if the manufacturer does not have the information already indexed or if it differs greatly from the needs of the project. The executor does not, however, carry any responsibility for any excess materials. When calculating the amount of materials needed, the executor is entitled to a margin of error of 15% from the main volume of purchased materials.;

- If necessary, trips to relevant shops for a more accurate and detailed selection of individual item materials will be performed. The trips can be done with or without the client, and not more often than once per week.

- If necessary, individual item materials can be bought for, and at the expense of the client.

- Presence of the designer at the point of delivery of materials by manufacturer or seller for the purpose of quality verification.

  

 

 4. Designer supervision.

 

 Includes:

- Telephone (and other) negotiations with workers.

- Consultations of related specialists (electrical wiring, air conditioning, etc.)

- Regular visits to the renovation site with the purpose of quality and time-table control. The visits will be carried out no more often, than once a week on days agreed to by both parties. Extra visits can be arranged and paid for separately.

- Control over the renovation and construction process* with the purpose of compliance with the design project.

- Verification of the results of the renovation through comparison with the initial design project.

- Recommendations to the client and/or work team for completing the renovation in accordance with the design project.

- Consultation with the client and/or work team and providers to answer any questions related to the construction and renovation work necessary for the implementation of the design project.

- In special cases - implementation of amendments and additions into the initial design project. The foundations, order and conditions of this service are regulated by the contract.

- Keeping of the designer supervision log.

* Here and further. Designer control should not be confused with technical quality control, done by a specialist. Designer supervision verifies the compliance of the work being done with the design project and nothing more. However, if the designer sees blatant violation of construction and renovation techniques, his task is to inform the customer of the violation.

5. Controlling the renovation and construction work.

 

 Includes:

- Keeping the designer supervision log

- Creating the schedule for the renovation and construction work. The schedule is handed to the client, who must then pass it on to his contractor and others whom it may concern.

- Organization of interactions with subcontractors, and related organizations (air conditioning installation, appliances, individual furniture production, etc.)

 - Organization of the delivery of individually made materials.
